Upholstered Headboards...the details

Picture
  • We will order the style and size (Twin/double/Queen/King) you choose, cover the board and schedule an installation.
  • You can purchase your own fabric or select one from our collection of books.
  • Fabric requirements are based on 54" fabric width with a pattern repeat up to 27 inches.
  • King size bolstered upholstered headboards require straight seaming of the center cushion if the fabric is not railroaded.Contact us for more information on yardage.
  • All but Twin size non-bolstered upholstered headboards require straight seaming if the fabric is not railroaded.
  • For both bolstered and non-bolstered upholstered headboards, if you are using a light weight, light colored fabric we recommend you apply a lining prior to applying the top fabric, including on the bolster of a bolstered headboard if you choose a smooth rather than shirred cover; we will handle all the details to make your headboard "just right".
  • Headboards can be mounted to legs which attach to the bed frame or they can be mounted directly to the wall with a cleat type bracket. We prefer the wall mounted option, especially when there may be baseboard heat registers.
  • These headboards can be recovered at any time, should you change you color scheme. So your investments will last through many design schemes over time.
