Upholstered Walls
Upholstered Walls are a terrific way to add sophistication and sound absorption to a space. Properly installed with quality fabric, well chosen design motif, and good supplies, this feature will add value and luxury to any space. View our video for a round-the-room adventure in wall upholstery. We love the look, application, working on this project and most importantly the end results!
We can provide an estimate for labor based on the square footage of the walls to be covered. We will also travel a wider range of service area depending on the project, our availability, and the extra travel fees. If you are a designer looking to add this feature to a client's home, please provide us with schematic plans of each wall showing the existing trim, doors, windows, outlets, etc. Yardage estimates can only be provided after all the fabric repeats, vertical and horizontal, are supplied as well as the wall dimensions and site location (town, state).
We use a traditional lattice and poly pad construction. Fabric is seamed prior to installation and the pattern is matched going into and out of the corners with a seamless overlap. We fabricate a double welt trim to give a truly custom end result. The room you see here in the video was an average-size dining room where only the top portion of the wall was covered from the chair rail to the crown molding. This job was completed in one day but typically it would be a 1.5 day job. The furniture was kept in the room and pushed to the center as needed for access to the walls. The end results are breathtaking!
